We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Klovr at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability. don't be evil.

2. Description of Service

Klovr provides an API service that converts HTML content to Markdown format optimized for AI agents and large language models. The service includes:

• HTML-to-Markdown conversion API
• Content extraction and cleaning
• Metadata extraction (OpenGraph, Schema.org)
• Token counting and optimization
• Usage analytics and dashboards
• API key management

3. Account Registration

To use Klovr, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Promptly notifying us of unauthorized access
• Ensuring you meet the minimum age requirement (18 years)

4. API Keys and Security

All API access requires an API key. You agree to:

• Keep your API keys confidential and secure
• Not share API keys with unauthorized parties
• Immediately rotate keys if compromised
• Use HTTPS for all API requests
• Not attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures

• Attempt to reverse engineer the service
• Use the service for illegal surveillance or harassment

7. Intellectual Property

Klovr retains all rights to the service, including source code, algorithms, and branding. You retain all rights to content you submit for conversion. Klovr does not claim ownership of converted output, but we may temporarily cache conversions for performance optimization (max 1 hour).

8. Service Level and Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to:

• Perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice
• Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
• Suspend service for security incidents
• Throttle or block requests that impact system stability

Enterprise customers have SLA guarantees specified in their contracts.

9. Payment Terms

For paid plans:

• Fees are charged monthly in advance
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• We may change pricing with 30 days notice
• Failed payments may result in service suspension
• Taxes are your responsibility unless otherwise agreed

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Fail to pay fees when due
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Pose a security risk to our systems or other users

Upon termination, your API keys will be revoked and usage data will be retained per our Privacy Policy.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE., OR UNINTERRUPTED. CONVERTED CONTENT MAY CONTAIN INACCURACIES. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING OUTPUT QUALITY.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KLOVR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Klovr from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, violation of these terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

14. Governing Law
